Summary:
Delia Moss isn’t quite sure where she went wrong.
When she proposed and discovered her boyfriend was sleeping with someone else – she thought it was her fault.
When she realized life would never be the same again – she thought it was her fault.
And when he wanted her back like nothing had changed – Delia started to wonder if perhaps she was not to blame…
From Newcastle to London and back again, with dodgy jobs, eccentric bosses and annoyingly handsome journalists thrown in, Delia must find out where her old self went – and if she can ever get her back.
I enjoyed this book quite a bit more than If I Never Met You, though I’m not sure why, perhaps I just love the plot.
The plot of this one is…well…interesting to say the least. There’s covert business happening here and sometimes it’s completely and utterly hilarious, let me tell you. There’s circumstances in this book that I sincerely hope never happen to anyone in real life, but they are hilarious in writing.
Delia is a character who finds herself in some conundrums and pretty much deals with them the way I would. With complete and utter chaotic responses. She’s a fun character and so are the others, except her boss who is a complete and total tool.
This book is almost charming, and the relationship between the two main characters is extremely entertaining.
